Week 2: Three Acts of Love That Lead to Inner Peace.

This week, I learned something beautiful in a majlis:

Inner peace = Giving + Forgiveness + Humility.

I loved this so equation much, and I could not stop thinking about how deeply each of these actions connects to love.

Giving...

We can give money, time, or effort. We can donate to charities and help those in need. We can do all of this out of obligation. We might give to gain recognition or to feel better about ourselves. But what if we give out of love? Love for giving. Love for helping. Love for others. Even love for life itself. Loving that we are part of a divine cycle God created, where everyone has something to give.

Forgiveness.

It takes a lot of love to forgive someone who hurts us. But it takes even more love to forgive ourselves when we cannot forgive. To forgive our parents for their shortcomings. To forgive the world for not being as perfect as we hoped. Forgiveness is not just an act. It is a whole journey of love, and many people are not lucky enough to walk it.

Humility.

This one feels big. To be humble means admitting you are not superior to anyone else, while still knowing your worth. Finding that balance can feel hard. But when you look through the eyes of love, humility becomes as natural as a heartbeat. You stop comparing yourself to others altogether. You stop measuring, evaluating, or proving yourself. You simply exist as a person walking the path of love. And so is everyone else. Through the eyes of love, we are all equally loved, imperfections and all.

And through the eyes of love, I hope to find my own peace one day.

Thank you for reading my Friday's thoughts (though i'm posting this on a Thursday's night). 💙💙💙
