— D. Donovan Senior Reviewer for Midwest Book Review

Artboard 1

"Everything about this book is beautiful; the cover, the writing, the story, the titular character, even the formatting! How often do you find yourself saying that about a novel?"

— Richard E. Rock, author of Frenzy Island

Artboard 1

"The author excels at building suspense, revealing just enough of Mia's fragmented memories to keep readers guessing. The evolving dynamic between Mia and Haru is perfectly executed, with plenty of tension and subtle hints of romance."

Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite

Artboard 1

"This is a book about healing, not conquering. About repentance, not slaughter (though there is plenty of that). About redemption, not destruction (though that happens, too)... It feels like a kaleidoscope of color, dark and bright, of artfully woven threads."

— Raina Nightingale, author of Return of the Dragonriders

Artboard 1

"From the witty banter to the nail-biting fight scenes, this book made me stay up way too late to find out what happens next. And those plot twists! Just when I think I know what’s going to happen, the author throws a major twist that leaves me gasping."

— Peri June, author of My Life As I Knew It

About Me

They say it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill. If that’s true, I’m happy to do the time.

I fell in love with writing as a child. I loved how words sounded, and how they could hold emotions bigger than the page. In my twenties, I kept dreaming of becoming a novelist, and when that dream finally came true, I realized I wanted more than stories alone. I wanted to speak to the heart through both imagination and truth.

In my work, you’ll find fantasy worlds you can step into, and real-talk reflections on identity, healing, and becoming. I call this lens “Yasminism”, a life philosophy built on curiosity, tenderness, and the courage to grow out loud.
